The Making of ÌCHÍTÀ WORLD: A Cinematic Artist Universe
Behind the build: why ÌCHÍTÀ WORLD was designed as a cinematic artist universe, not just a music website — and what every decision means.
Most artist websites are digital business cards.
A photo. Some streaming links. A merch store that looks like every other merch store. Maybe a bio that reads like a press release.
ÌCHÍTÀ WORLD was built to be something categorically different. Not because of ego — because of belief. I believe that music is a universe, not a product. And if that's true, the space it lives in needs to reflect that.
This is the story of how it was built, and why every decision was made.
The Palette: Why Obsidian, Crimson, Platinum, and Ember
Colour is not decoration. It's language.
Before I wrote a single line of code or brief, I spent a long time thinking about what ÌCHÍTÀ WORLD should feel like visually. Not what it should look like — what it should feel like. There's a difference.
Obsidian is the base. Volcanic glass — black that holds depth, not just absence. It's the darkness that precedes a beginning. Space, not void. The kind of black that makes everything placed against it look elevated.
Crimson is the pulse. Blood, fire, urgency, vitality. The colour of something alive. On obsidian, crimson reads as signal — a frequency cutting through dark matter. That tension between the still and the vital is at the core of everything I make musically.
Platinum is the standard. Not gold — gold reads warm, achievable, aspirational in the way of things already attained. Platinum is colder. Harder. A different category of achievement. When platinum appears in the design, it marks something that matters.
Ember is the warmth underneath everything. The glow that persists after the fire. The warmth you feel from music that stays with you after the headphones come off.
Together, these four colours tell a story before a single word is read. That's the work colours are supposed to do.
The Merch: Wearable Worlds
ÌCHÍTÀ WORLD merch was never designed as merchandise in the traditional sense.
It's not a T-shirt with a logo. It's a physical extension of the universe — something you wear into your life that carries the frequency with it.
CARMA is the centrepiece. Karma without the soft vowel — harder, more deliberate. It's about cycles. The idea that everything you put into the world eventually returns to you, transformed. The piece is built for someone who understands that concept and wants to wear it.
NATARAJ references the Hindu god of dance — the cosmic dancer who creates and destroys in the same motion. Creation is always also destruction. Making music means ending silence. The NATARAJ piece is for people who understand that creative acts are acts of will.
C'EST LA VIE REMIX is the reframe. That's life — but remixed. The philosophy that you don't just accept what comes, you transform it. The piece plays with that contradiction between surrender and craft.
AFTER THE PARTY is the quiet one. The exhale. What comes after the performance, after the front-facing world — the private, reflective space that's more real than the event that preceded it. It's the piece for someone who knows that the best conversations happen at 2am.
Each piece is part of the world. Each one extends the narrative.
The Collector's Vault
The /drops page is the heart of ÌCHÍTÀ WORLD's direct economy.
It houses the Inner Circle — a $4.99/month membership that gives access to monthly exclusive drops. Unreleased tracks. Exclusive visuals. Stems and instrumental versions. Things that don't live anywhere else.
The Vault is designed as a collector's space — not a streaming dashboard. Every drop is treated as an object, not just a file. Limited in the way that things which matter are limited.
The decision to put this at the core of the site rather than on a third-party platform was intentional. ÌCHÍTÀ WORLD owns this relationship. No platform takes a cut. No algorithm decides who sees what. The people in the Inner Circle are there because they chose to be — and what they receive reflects that.
Why It Needed to Be Cinematic
Cinematic is an overused word. I want to be precise about what I mean.
Cinematic doesn't mean expensive visual effects. It means that every element is there for a reason — that there's a director's intentionality behind the choices. That the pacing, the texture, the composition all serve a coherent vision rather than being assembled from trends.
When you arrive at ÌCHÍTÀ WORLD, the experience should feel like entering something. Like the beginning of a film. Not because there are dramatic animations (though there are), but because there's a perspective behind the design. A point of view.
That's what makes it a universe rather than a website. Websites present information. Universes create experience.
This Is Just the Beginning
ÌCHÍTÀ WORLD is version one of a long-term build.
The music catalogue grows. The merch collection expands. The Vault deepens. The Inner Circle becomes a tighter, more specific community of people who are genuinely invested in where this goes.
Every element of this was designed to be added to — to compound. That's what a universe does. It expands.
If you're here now, you're early.
Explore the Collector's Vault. Explore the merch. And if you want to be inside the build as it happens — join the Inner Circle.
